Woodstrip epoxy construction: Narrow strips of wood machined with a bead and cove edge, are edge glued over a building form and covered on both sides with fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. The result is a high strength to weight craft which is light and strong.

    Stitch and glue construction: Precut plywood panels are glued over a building form and covered on both sides with fiberglass cloth and marine epoxy resin. The result is a high strength to weight craft which is light and strong. Note: In the Bear Mountain method of Stitch & Glue the entire hull is sheathed with fiberglass cloth, not just the seams and takes advantage of the sandwich
