Deceptively beautiful, the modern woodstrip canoe is not only rugged and responsive in the water, but can be built by anyone with a minimum of carpentry tools and woodworking skills. We enjoy helping people build good boats and are committed to supplying quality plans and instructions to help them realize their canoe or kayak building dreams!

Since the release of our book, Canoecraft in 1983, thousands of people have been inspired to build a strip canoe. Since we spend a lot of time answering questions and providing support, we will be including answers to frequently asked questions in that section. Please bear with us as we update the FAQ section!
