Boats For SaleMill Creek 13' Double Paddle Solo CanoeThis jaunty craft is ideal for paddling photographers and bird watchers who want to explore marshes, creeks and lakes in complete comfort. It features a roomy cockpit, comfy seat, is extremely stable and a dream to handle. This canoe was built by Ted Moores for his latest book Kayaks You Can Build. It is a kit sold by Chesapeake Light Craft and Ted chose it for his book because of the wide appeal it has to paddlers who want a simple, lightweight boat that is comfortable for extended periods of time and easy to enter. He sheathed the entire hull and deck in fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin for durability and the final finishes of paint (on the hull) and a red/brown stain (on the deck) add striking good looks to ho-hum plywood. The Bear Mountain version of the Mill Creek might be the perfect retirement or special occasion gift that will be appreciated for years to come.
