I am writing to thank you for writing a damn good book! When your book arrived, and I saw the cover photo, I was inspired to a higher level of craftsmanship. I used ideas from both books, but would like to thank you for your ideas and general attention to detail. Your book became my construction Bible. I was enlightened by your chapter on the history of strip canoe construction.
