Small Craft Builders Rendezvous July 18-20th, 2008 We hope you will join us at the third annual Small Craft Builders Rendezvous in Peterborough July 18 - 20th. The Builders Rendezvous is being held along with the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association Annual Assembly which this year is being held at Trent University. The WCHA has a program planned which you can see it on their web site at www.wcha.org. The Rendezvous will be held as part of the WCHA event on Friday July 18th and Saturday July 19th - there will be lots of interesting folk to chat with who are planning to come - (Hugh Horton, Rick Nash, David Fleming, Steve Killing, Walter Walker, Jim Raffan, Kirk Wipper, to name a few) Ron Frenette and his friends at Big2 Canoes will demonstrate strip building on the lawn at Trent on Saturday. Saturday evening a supper and social evening is held on the lawn at Bear Mountain - everyone is welcome but you must pre-register. Sunday there will be a picnic and paddle day in the beautiful Lakefield Marsh.
